Into the Wild leads Actors Guild nominations
The nominations for the Screen Actors Social club Awards let been announced with the Sean Penn-directed 'Into the Wild' lead the shortlist.
The film's principal, Emile Hirsch, is nominated for the Best Actor awarding, with co-stars Hal Holbrook and Catherine of Aragon Keener shortlisted in the Best Supporting Player and Actress categories severally.
The cast of 'Into the Wild' ar also nominated for the C. H. Best Cast honor.
Shortlisted with Hirsch for Best Histrion ar George Clooney ('Michael Clayton'), Daniel Day-Lewis ('There Will Be Blood'), Ryan Gosling ('Lars and the Real Girl') and Viggo Mortensen ('Eastern Promises').
Cate Blanchett ('Elizabeth: The Golden Age'), Julie Agatha Christie ('Away from Her'), Marion Cotillard ('La Vie en Rose'), Angelina Jolie ('A Powerful Heart') and Ellen Page ('Juno') are nominated for Topper Actress.
